Navigating Community-based Aging Resources Series (Part 1)

October 23 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Getting older comes with a lot of questions—and sometimes, a little worry. How long can I stay in my home? What happens if I need more help? This 5-part series is designed to take the mystery (and fear) out of those questions.

We’ll start with practical ways to age in place and then walk through the next steps if more care is needed. Along the way, you’ll learn about assisted living, skilled nursing and elder group homes, plus what palliative care and hospice really mean. Whether you’re planning ahead for yourself or helping a loved one, you’ll walk away with knowledge, resources, and confidence. Come join us—it’s information you’ll be glad to have when you need it.

PART 1 OF 5-PART SERIES:
“I want to stay in my home as long as possible…how can I ‘Age-in-Place?’
“Aging in Place” is exactly as it sounds: Spending your twilight years in your home instead of moving to a senior care facility! Discover how senior home care can offer services to help you live as independently as possible at home.

Resources from the community will be available to answer questions!
