The City of Elkhart Planing and Zoning Department is in the process of updating the UDO in the City of Elkhart. The City, in partnership with enFocus, is engaging with the public to learn about what they would like to see in the UDO updates.

What is UDO? UDO stands for Unified Development Ordinance. It’s like a rulebook that guides how our city grows and develops. It includes everything from where buildings can be built to how neighborhoods are designed.
