What is Heart Beat of the City?
We really wanted to find a way to celebrate Elkhart’s history in music, Elkhart’s tradition of innovative ideas, and to support the mission of Heart City Health.
Celebrating the healing power of music, this Heart Beat of the City concert features singer-songwriter Julia James, the Latin rock sounds of Lalo Cura, accomplished R&B and Motown performer Darryl Buchanan, and the sweet voice of cover band Shock Roxy plus some special guest appearances.
The main stage is at the RV Hall of Fame’s Orthwein Pavilion and will be live streamed to three mobile Jumbotrons across the city for drive-in and tailgating family fun. Elkhart High School East Campus (Central), Elkhart High School West Campus (Memorial) and Pierre Moran Middle School parking lots will give people room to park every other parking space and keep COVID safe to enjoy live music. Each location will have food trucks and giveaways.
You can come join us from whatever community you live. Or you can “tune-in” online because just like Heart City Health, at Heart Beat of the City: No one gets turned away. Let’s enjoy some live music together.
What is Heart City Health?
Heart Beat of the City benefits the people of Elkhart and Heart City Health, which provides several medical services to people regardless of age, race or income.
