John and Joann Smith have been identifying, photographing, and keeping inventories of native wildflowers in local parks and nature preserves the past 20 years. The first session will be an overview of local wildflowers, followed by a short hike. The remaining three sessions will be interpretive hikes to local natural areas. The longest hikes will be approximately 1½ hours of slow walking over easy to moderate terrain. Carpools will allow all to participate. John is Professor Emeritus of education at Goshen College, and Joann is a retired French teacher at West Noble High.
This class is limited to 20 participants.
