OSHA Council Breakfast – Workplace Violence/Harassment
November 18, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am
$15.00The threat of violence in the modern workplace has become an unfortunate reality that organizations struggle to deal with effectively. The number of incidents and impact has only grown in the wake of COVID-19.

Each one can represent a serious threat to an organization’s safety, security, productivity, brand, and reputation. What can you do to prevent incidents in your workplace? How can you be prepared to respond should a tragedy strike?
In this OSHA Council event, Ed Bernard, Loss Prevention Consultant at Gibson, will cover:
- How to define and recognize workplace violence
- Strategies for becoming a more effective communicator to avoid workplace violence situations
- Best practices for developing a workplace violence prevention program
- Tactics for responding should tragedy strike
This event will be held virtually on Zoom. Log-in information will be provided to registrants on Monday, 11/16.
The program will be from 8 – 9 am.
