Slip, Trip and Fall Prevention – OSHA Breakfast
January 19 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am$20.00
THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED TO ZOOM ONLY.
Slips, trips and falls sound like such an inevitable part of life, especially this time of year. The purpose of this month’s OSHA Breakfast is to help everyone understand how significant these injuries are and how to aggressively engage in preventing them.
Falls are the second leading cause of unintentional injury-related deaths. In 2019, 39,443 people died in falls either at home or at work. Another 244,000 were injured badly enough to require days off work. A worker doesn’t have to fall from a high level to suffer fatal injuries; 146 workers were killed in falls on the same level in 2019, according to Injury Facts.
Please join us as Safety Veteran James Carr shares more about the impact of Slip, Trip and Fall injuries and the most successful means for preventing them and reducing their impact on employees, families and organizations.
Program will be from 8 to 9 AM
Zoom log in information will be sent on Tuesday, January 18.
