Please join us for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the newly rehabilitated Beardsley Discovery Center! This event will take place at 4p on Friday, May 1 at 819 N Main St in Elkhart. A private reception for project donors and Ruthmere members will follow.

As a part of the original 1848 Havilah Beardsley farmstead, this building which is believed to have been constructed in 1847, was a natural addition to our historic properties. The Beardsley Discovery Center comes at just the right time to fulfill the needs of our community through improving the visitor experience and increasing the Ruthmere Campus’ capacity as they celebrate 50 years of museum service.
