The awards went to deserving Chamber members, keynote speaker Andrew Berlin gave an informative speech, and the business connections were valuable. My column from Sunday’s South Bend Tribune talks about why Chambers host these annual meetings.
As much as we could talk about 2016 and how important it was, we need to get moving. In this e-newsletter, you will see a series of upcoming events that will Educate, Advocate, and Elevate the business community in this region. But let me make special note of a couple items.
I just confirmed that Governor Eric Holcomb will speak to the visitors of Chamber Day at the Statehouse. He is only one of the speakers and connections you will be able to make.
We have an opportunity to honor the younger members of our entrepreneurial climate through the annual 40 under 40 event.
We have a lot to celebrate in this community. And we will have even more to celebrate next year.
