Registration is required. \nCertification in Mental Health First Aid will be attained upon completion of this training. \n**This is a “blended” course. A 2-hour self-paced training is required to be completed prior to the in-person class. All of the materials and links will be provided to you. \nYou will learn: \n-The prevalence of mental illness in the U.S. and the emotional and economic cost. \n-The potential warning signs and risk factors for mental health challenges and crisis. \n-A 5-step action plan to help an individual in crisis connect to professional care. \n-Resources available to help someone with a mental health challenge.
