DESCRIPTION:John and Joann Smith have been identifying\, photographing\, and keeping inventories of native wildflowers in local parks and nature preserves the past 20 years. The first session will be an overview of local wildflowers\, followed by a short hike. The remaining three sessions will be interpretive hikes to local natural areas. The longest hikes will be approximately 1½ hours of slow walking over easy to moderate terrain. Carpools will allow all to participate. Masks are strongly recommended if you have been vaccinated. Gallery Talks or Noon Time Talks each Thursday will be limited to 50 people on a first-come-first-serve basis. Doors will be locked at 12:15. No admittance to the museum by the public will be allowed until the talk has concluded and the galleries emptied and sterilized.
