Since their debut studio release in 2014\, Shiny Shiny Black has been writing and recording original songs and sharing the stage with local and regional artists. In December 2021\, he enrolled in private lessons at the Elkhart School of Music with Michael Lechlitner. Since then\, he has excelled – showing off his talent in five recitals. His plans for the future are to continue to grow and develop as a pianist with his sights on Carnegie Hall. \nBella Bauer is a freshman at Purdue University and the current Miss Indiana’s Teen 2024. SUMMARY:Girl Named Tom: Return to the Wild – Acoustic Tour
DESCRIPTION:Three siblings unlock one harmony to unite the world as Girl Named Tom. The trio—Bekah\, Joshua\, and Caleb Liechty—notably made history as “the only group to ever win NBC’s The Voice.” Along the way\, they’ve impressively generated over 25 million of streams across chart-rattling covers such as “River\,” “The Chain\,” and “Dust in the Wind.” The proud Midwesterners gained further traction with the independent release of Another World EP. In 2022\, they served up their debut holiday EP\, One More Christmas\, which reached #1 on the iTunes Charts\, and embarked on a massive arena tour supporting Pentatonix for “A Christmas Spectacular.”  Since 2022 the group has been living life on the road performing over 200 shows to date. The sibling trio has captivated millions on television\, appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show\, singing for the Indy500\, and returning for a heart wrenching performance on The Voice Finale a year after their win.  Their inimitable harmony will only continue to resound louder with their most recent release “Locked In Your Love”

SUMMARY:Lunchtime Live with Celia Weiss – Kimball Organ Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Lerner is pleased to welcome an Elkhart favorite\, Celia Weiss\, back on The Lerner’s 1924 Kimball Organ in this free community series. \nCelia Weiss is one of few musical artists who hold the enviable record of having served as a soloist on two different musical instruments. A pianist and organist well known to local audiences\, the artist has appeared on numerous occasions with the Elkhart County Symphony Orchestra\, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra\, the IUSB Philharmonic\, the Manchester University Symphony Orchestra\, and in recitals throughout the area. \nMrs. Weiss is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music at IUSB for the Raclin School of the Arts where she teaches organ. She is a past recipient of the IUSB Merit Status and Outstanding Alumni Awards. She holds a B.M.E from Manchester College and a M.M. in Piano from Indiana University. An educator as well as a performer\, she has taught music in the Elkhart and Goshen Community Schools and piano at Goshen College. Since 1975 she has held the position of Director of Music and Organist for the First Presbyterian Church in Elkhart. She is a frequent accompanist for the Elkhart County Symphony Orchestra and performs several piano and organ concerts for the Lerner Theatre’s “Lunchtime Live!” each year. \nThe 1924 Kimball pipe organ located in Elkhart\, Indiana’s Lerner Theatre is one of only two Kimball pipe organs currently installed in its original location. The organ was restored following the 2011 renovation of the theatre which opened on Thanksgiving Day\, 1924. After the restoration\, a crew of nearly 20 from Bunn-Minnick Pipe Organs of Columbus\, Ohio\, spent three weeks hoisting equipment and filling the two pipe chambers with more than 1\,000 pipes. The project absorbed nearly 10\,000 man-hours for the crew over a year.

SUMMARY:Toast – The Ultimate Bread Experience
DESCRIPTION:TOAST is the No. 1 Tribute in the world to the 70’s hit band\, BREAD! \nWith a surprising fidelity rarely heard from a live tribute band\, their sound is often described as “spot on” to the original recordings. Audiences everywhere rave about closely their live performances sound like the cherished records they listened to back in the day. \n“BREAD VIRTUALLY INVENTED soft rock in the early Seventies\, and the group’s biggest hits — ‘Make It With You\,’ ‘If\,’ ‘Baby I’m-a Want You’ and ‘Everything I Own’ — remain staples on lite-rock radio.” – Rolling Stone \nTOAST takes the audience on a journey back in time\, engaging a spectrum of emotions; from the tender moments that tug on the heartstrings to the upbeat classics that compel them to jump out of their seats and dance. And when combined with the timeless music of Bread\, this concert has “risen” to the top as one of the absolute favorites of audiences everywhere!
