DESCRIPTION:Chelsea Younkman\, Toledo\, OH\nPlease join us on Thursday\, August 10\, 2023\, for our Noon Time Talk at 12:15 PM\nThe artist will discuss her transformative relationship to four self-portraits in the exhibit. She states\, “I made the drawings as a celebration of my new lifestyle of healthier eating habits and exercise. In the year 2018\, I made the decision to go on Weight Watchers to lose 60 pounds and within 10 months I lost a total of 100 pounds. In the drawings\, I wanted to examine the anatomical structure of my face since changing my lifestyle. I drew myself in a hat to represent a more confident\, healthier version of myself.”\nAdmission $5. Free for MMAA Members & Donors.\nGallery Talks or Noon Time Talks each Thursday will be limited to 50 people on a first-come-first-serve basis. Doors will be locked at 12:15. No admittance to the museum by the public will be allowed until the talk has concluded.\nThis Noon Time Talk is part of an ongoing series of educational discussions and films sponsored by the Community Foundation of Elkhart County.
