DESCRIPTION:The individuals we serve are excited to share their art with you! \nVisit the Bristol Library throughout the entire months of September & November to see the Art by ADEC exhibit. If you see something that you like\, you can purchase it right there at the library! When you purchase Art by ADEC\, 50% of the proceeds go to the artists and the remaining 50% is used to fund ADEC’s art programs so more people can learn to use their creativity.

SUMMARY:Reparative Justice with Indigenous Peoples: The Pursuit of Wholeness
DESCRIPTION:The Indigenous peoples of the Americas experienced widespread devastation as Europeans settled across the landscape. Participants will be guided through a model of repair containing four elements: awareness\, lament\, reparations and memorialization. The sessions will include Indigenous voices – spoken and written\, as well as examples of reparative actions taken by individuals\, congregations\, and organizations. Luke Gascho retired after serving for 22 years as executive director of Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center. \nNov. 8\, 10\, 15\, 17. Also offered via Zoom.
