SUMMARY:Bouncing Back – Creating a Resilient Workplace
DESCRIPTION:CBE Workshop for Leaders:  Bouncing Back – Creating a Resilient Workplace\nIt’s starting to sink in.  There will be no “back to normal.” As things open up and more people go back to work\, keeping employees safe\, committed and productive is vital.  Conditions are constantly changing and resilient organizations are adapting by choosing to no longer do things that are not essential\, sticking with what is productive and speeding up the rate of innovation and adaptation.  Organizations with a cultural “true north” are using their mission and values to guide them to do what really matters. \nThis series of three Zoom-based workshops has been crafted for the busy leader.  It will provide a framework for leaders to provide the direction and support that are essential to help their organizations bounce back.  The sessions are fast paced and content rich.  Participants will leave each session with practical ideas and useful tools. \nThe Instructors\, Bil Murray and Merritt Dilts\, have practical leadership and continuous improvement knowledge from extensive industry experience. \nThe cost includes all three sessions: \nJuly 22\, 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM\, Session I – “The Main Thing:  Using mission and values to build resilience at work” \nJuly 29\, 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM\, Session II – “Organizational Culture:  Why change?  Why now?” \nAugust 5\, 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM\, Session III – “Get on with it: Stop\, Start\, Speed up” \nYou will receive the Zoom information in a separate email after we receive your registration.

SUMMARY:Front Line Leadership Training Series
DESCRIPTION:CBE Workshop: Front Line Leadership Training Series \n \nFor most organizations\, those who lead on the front lines make up the largest part of the Management Team.  These leaders have typically been promoted from floor positions because they exhibited natural leadership skills. In other cases\, these leaders joined the company in “Leader In Training” roles.  Whichever the case\, their impact on the organization is significant yet they haven’t been trained in the foundational leadership skills that will help make them and company very successful. \nThe Front Line Leader Workshops are lively\, practical and interactive sessions that take participants through foundation leadership skills while introducing them to higher level continuous improvement tools and leadership practices. \nThe series of workshops build upon each other and address performance management\, problem solving\, leading change\, leadership communication\, conflict management and motivation of employees with various styles.  Participants will also get a DiSC Workplace Profile assessment and gain understanding on how their workplace style can best interact and positively impact their team and peers. \nPlease note\, participants may be eligible for the NextLevel Jobs Grant from the State of Indiana if participants take the full series of workshops. \nThe full series of 10 Workshops is $920 ($792 for Greater Elkhart Chamber Members). Individual Courses are $99 ($85 with the Chamber Member Discount)*\n* There is a 7% discount for the full series and participants may be eligible for the NextLevel Jobs Grant from the State of Indiana if participants take the full series of workshops. We can help you with applying for these grants.  For the individual courses involving the DiSC Workplace Profiles\, there is an additional cost of $72 for each Everything DiSC Workplace Profile Assessment. If you are interested in taking individual courses\, please contact Merritt Dilts at mdilts@elkhart.org \nWorkshop Schedule and Topics:\nSep 15 – Module 1 (4 hours): Understanding Leadership (What Leaders Do)\nSep 29 – Module 2 (4 hours): Understanding Your Leadership Style (DiSC Workplace Profile Assessment)\nOct 13 – Module 3 (4 hours): Communication\nOct 27 – Module 4 (4 hours): Performance Management\nNov 10 – Modules 5&6 (8 hours): Team Work\nNov 17 – Modules 7&8 (8 hours): Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement\nDec 1 – Module 9 (4 hours): Leading Through Change\nDec 15 – Module 10 (4 hours): Putting it All Together
