The organizations are designed to reduce petroleum consumption in the transportation sector. \nThe coalitions achieve this in a number of ways\, including the advancement of alternative fuels\, alternative fuel vehicles and sustainable vehicle technologies such as electric vehicles and their charging infrastructure.
