DESCRIPTION:Essenhaus is more than a restaurant and bakery! To showcase all of their unique facets\, in conjunction with the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce\, Essenhaus will be hosting a Business After Hours event on Thursday July 17\, 2025. The BAH event will be from 4:30-6:30pm and will start at the Inn & Conference Center located at 240 US Highway 20 in Middlebury. This event will allow you to sample a variety of their extensive catering menu\, tour the Inn & Conference Center\, hear from the owners\, take part in giveaways\, and enjoy the Classic Car Cruise-In after. Come enjoy a great night and uncover all the unique things that Essenhaus can offer to you and your next event! \nAs mentioned\, this event will be taking place on the same evening as the Cruise-In (also right on campus!). Whether you have your own classic or unique vehicle\, please feel free bring your classic or unique vehicle as well or to stroll through all of the vehicles after your time at the Business After Hours. Details on parking will be emailed closer to time of the event and are available upon request.

DESCRIPTION:New Educator Welcome for 2025-26 School Year \n\n\nBag sponsorships ($400) deadline is June 27. \nThe Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce will welcome new teachers and administrators of Elkhart\, Concord\, and Baugo School systems and area private schools with a welcome presentation at their school system’s orientation in August. \nSponsors are needed for the canvas bags and items to fill them. The completed welcome bags will be delivered to each new educator at their school. \nEach bag will contain information about Elkhart County\, a listing of contributing businesses\, and donated items such as pens\, pencils\, office supplies\, coupons or products with company names and logos. To fill the bags and meet the goal to reach all new educators in the community\,  200 items are needed. \nDonations should be received at the Chamber by July 25. \nFor more information\, or if you are interested in donating items for the bags\, please contact Kathy at (574) 293-1531 Ext. 122 or kcardwell@elkhart.org
