DESCRIPTION:The December presentation will focus on recent changes at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) as well as their future direction.  Other topics will include IDEM’s legislative agenda for the upcoming session\, some new emerging federal rules\, changes at the USEPA\, and common violations from local inspections. \nPresenter: James E. Weingart\, Director\, Northern Regional Office \nWednesday\, December 17 at 7:30 am at the Matterhorn Conference Center. Breakfast begins at 7:30 am; Program begins at 8 am \nPre-registration is required. \n \nThis event is open to all Greater Elkhart Chamber Members. SUMMARY:Member Celebration - Church Community Services
DESCRIPTION:Church Community Services is celebrating  the generous donation and acquisition of the former Jimtown Historical Museum property. To mark this milestone\, CCS will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house  on Wednesday\, December 17 at 4:30 p.m. at 59710 County Road 3\, Elkhart. The Acres at Jamestown will serve as a new hub of community impact\, marking the start of a new chapter for CCS and all of Elkhart County. \nAn Open House will follow the ceremony. Community members are invited to mingle\, tour inside the home\, and celebrate with Christmas treats\, a warm cup of cocoa or cider\, then stay for the annual lighting of the house. The event will conclude at 6:30 p.m.
