SUMMARY:OSHA 20 Hour General Industry Training – 3/2023
DESCRIPTION:The 20 Hour 3-day Advanced Course  will cover portions of the material from the 10 Hour in greater depth and will include additional areas critical to OSHA compliance. Upon successful completion of this additional 20-Hour 3 day Course\, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion of 30-Hours OSHA Authorized Voluntary Compliance Training plus a wallet size certification card. Participants are requested to bring their copy of The Introduction to OSHA Student Handbook\, received at the 10 Hour Workshop.  \nThe prerequisite for attending this class is that registrants must have completed the OSHA 10 Hour General Industry Training offered by the Chamber in October 2022 or February 2023. SUMMARY:Elkhart Leadership Academy - It takes a Village Trivia and Silent Auction
DESCRIPTION:The Elkhart Leadership Academy’s Team Kijiji (Kijiji meaning “Village” in Swahili) is hosting a silent auction and family event filled with trivia and games to play. To ensure we have a great fun-filled night\, we are excited to feature Derald Gray of DG Visionaries LLC\, BrainBlast Entertainment\, and guest speakers. \nTickets are $35 per person and $250 for a table of 8. The ticket includes dinner and entry into the trivia contest. There is a  Prize for the winning trivia team; so make sure you bring your knowledge! Dinner will be buffet style\, cash bar\, and many different desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. \nAll proceeds will go to benefit The Villages of Indiana – Elkhart County. The Villages of Indiana is a local foster and adoption agency for children and young adults. This amazing 501(c)3 organization supports foster children and young adults from several local counties in Indiana.  The Village’s mission is to champion every child’s right to a safe\, permanent\, and nurturing home. They are committed to strengthening all families and embracing the dignity and diversity of every child\, youth\, and family served. They need support from concerned individuals and companies to accomplish this mission year after year but especially right now!
