SUMMARY:Slip\, Trip and Fall Prevention - OSHA Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED TO ZOOM ONLY.\nSlips\, trips and falls sound like such an inevitable part of life\, especially this time of year.  The purpose of this month’s OSHA Breakfast is to help everyone understand how significant these injuries are and how to aggressively engage in preventing them. \nFalls are the second leading cause of unintentional injury-related deaths. In 2019\, 39\,443 people died in falls either at home or at work.  Another 244\,000 were injured badly enough to require days off work.  A worker doesn’t have to fall from a high level to suffer fatal injuries; 146 workers were killed in falls on the same level in 2019\, according to Injury Facts. \nPlease join us as Safety Veteran James Carr shares more about the impact of Slip\, Trip and Fall injuries and the most successful means for preventing them and reducing their impact on employees\, families and organizations. \nProgram will be from 8 to 9 AM \nZoom log in information will be sent on Tuesday\, January 18. \nSPEAKER:      James Carr\, Industrial Safety and Environmental Services \nTo reserve tickets\, you must either click on the + sign or enter a quantity before clicking “Get Tickets” \n  \nSponsored by:

SUMMARY:Leading with your Strengths - Women's Council Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Too often\, we focus on what we aren’t good at and spend vast amounts of energy trying to improve in those areas. What if we stopped trying to do better what we’re not good at and instead focused on doing more of what we are good at? What if we built our teams the same way?\nJess Koscher\, CEO of Write Connections\, has used the StrengthsFinder tool for several years to build her teams and advise others on how to lead their own effective teams. This session will introduce us to the StrengthsFinder model and demonstrate how to get the best out of ourselves and those we lead by focusing on strengths. \nTo reserve tickets\, you must either click on the + sign or enter a quantity before clicking “Get Tickets”
