This project was part of the Leadership Academy 2019-2020  class. \nThe 30-foot by 30-foot open-air pavilion\, located on a concrete pad on the east side of the Visitor Cabin\, was generously funded by TouchTronics Inc.\, Mid-States Construction and the Rex & Alice A. Martin Foundation. It was designed to match the aesthetic of the Visitor Cabin. From the picnic tables there\, visitors can enjoy a view of the Quilt Garden when it is in season. \nPlease note\, at the Ribbon Cutting social distancing will be enforced\, and mask wearing required.

DESCRIPTION:2021 Third House Meetings \nAdvocacy on behalf of members is at the very core of the work the Chamber does on a daily basis. Being able to host our state lawmakers so they can meet face-to-face with their constituents is a privilege. \nThe opportunity to engage with our elected officials is paramount to insuring that the voices of Elkhart County are being echoed in the Statehouse during legislative sessions. \nThird House Meetings give the legislators and the voters a chance to communicate in an open forum. Indiana legislators invited to the Third House Meetings include Rep. David Abbott\, Rep. Joanna King\, Rep. Doug Miller\, Rep. Curt Nisly\, Rep. Timothy Wesco\, Sen. Blake Doriot\, Sen. Ryan Mishler\, and Sen. Linda Rogers. \nAdditional Third House Meetings will be held from 12 – 1:30 pm on Friday\, February 12\, March 12 and April 16. You will need to register for those separately. \nThis meeting  on Sat. Jan. 30th from 10-11:30am will be held via Zoom.
