DESCRIPTION:This 10 hour 2-day Course is designed to present detailed information on how the provisions of OSHA Act must be implemented in the workplace. The 10 Hour Workshop fee includes breakfast and lunch both days and your personal copy of Introduction to OSHA Student Handbook. \nUpon completion of the training\, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Department of Labor OSHA wallet size completion card.  Attendance is limited to 40 participants. \nCancellations must be received at least 4 working days prior to the first session for a full refund. \nTo reserve tickets\, you must either click on the + sign or enter a quantity before clicking “Get Tickets”

DESCRIPTION:Self Defense for Women\, hosted by the Women’s Council of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce \nRAD (Rape Aggression Defense) Classes for Women Self-Defense Class Open to the Public \nDefensive tactics every woman needs to know are taught at the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office. \nDet. Norma Alber instructs students both in classroom and gymnasium settings. The 12-hour course is broken into four nights of classes\, spanning two weeks. \nParticipants must attend all four courses in order to complete the course. \nThe next classes will be on the following dates: \n\nTuesday\, October 3\nThursday\, October 5\nTuesday\, October 10\nThursday\, October 12\n\nClasses will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office\, 26861 C.R. 26\, Elkhart\, IN 46517 (turn right & right again after entering the Criminal Justice Complex.  Follow the road that goes down a level\, park\, & enter the door on the south side of the building.  It will be marked where to go.) \nWomen interested in attending these free courses should call (574)891-2341 or send an email to VShaw@elkhartcountysheriff.com.
