SUMMARY:Front Line Leadership Training Series (all)
DESCRIPTION:The Front-Line Leader Workshops are geared for managers\, supervisors and group leaders. The sessions are highly interactive take participants through foundational leadership skills while introducing them to higher level continuous improvement tools and leadership practices. \nThe series of workshops build upon each other and address performance management\, problem solving\, leading change\, leadership communication\, conflict management and motivation of employees with various styles. Participants will also get a DiSC Workplace Profile assessment and gain understanding on how their workplace style can best interact and positively impact their team and peers. \nFacilitators Bil Murray and Merritt Dilts have deep practical leadership and continuous improvement knowledge from a variety of industry experience. \nYou can attend the whole series (recommended) or choose those topics most pertinent to your needs. The first session “Understanding Front Line Leadership: Striving for Excellence” kicks off on September 22\, 8 am to 12 pm \nThe full series of 10 Workshops is $975 ($895 for Greater Elkhart Chamber Members).\nIndividual Courses are $105 ($95 for Greater Elkhart Chamber Members).\nThe full series price includes an Everything DiSC Workplace Profile Assessment. Please note\, for the individual course (Module 2) involving the DiSC Workplace Profiles\, there is an additional $72 for the assessment. \nThese workshops will be held at in person at the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce\, 418 S Main St\, Elkhart. Single modules are from 8 am to 12 noon with the exception of 10/18; that module runs 1 pm to 5 pm. In order to be successful both professionally and personally\, it is important to remember that this lifestyle is an ever-changing concept: what works for you today may not work tomorrow\, and that’s okay. Breanna Allen\, Ph.D.\, executive director of the Tolson Center for Community Excellence\, will share her story on how she purposefully evaluates her needs and makes the necessary adjustments to maintain balance.
