SUMMARY:The Startup Effect
DESCRIPTION:The Startup Effect was created by the students of Startup Moxie Elkhart County to bring attention to young entrepreneurs in the county. It is a business casual event including a buffet-style dinner. This programming showcases the many talents and experiences of the students of Startup Moxie. It will consist of a networking hour\, student presentations and a judged pitch competition from\, which is followed up with time to talk to the students about their businesses\, as well as the results of the competition\, and other small businesses Startup has chosen to be featured. We will be featuring the mayor\, Rod Roberson\, to show just how important business is to Elkhart. This event is not just to uplift the students\, though. Startup Moxie is going to feature some small businesses along with the ones the students created!
